Plastic Water Tank Supply & Installation in Nairobi
Kentank, Roto, and TopTank tanks from 1,000 L to 24,000 L, delivered, installed on a proper base, and connected to your plumbing in one visit.
Polyethylene tanks are the most common water storage in Kenya: affordable, food-grade, UV-stabilised, and quick to install. What separates a tank that lasts 15+ years from one that cracks in three is the base, the fittings, and how it is connected. We handle supply, base construction, plumbing, overflow, and handover so your tank works from day one.
What we do
Supply of genuine tanks
Kentank, Roto, and TopTank cylindrical, loft, and underground models with manufacturer warranties of up to 15 years.
Level concrete bases
Every 1,000 L of water weighs one tonne. We cast a level, reinforced base sized for the full tank so it never tilts or cracks.
Full plumbing connection
Inlet from the mains or borehole, float valve, outlet to the house, overflow, and wash-out valve, all in PPR or uPVC.
Tank replacement & upgrades
Remove old or cracked tanks, upsize capacity, and add a second tank linked in series for more storage.
Rooftop & loft tanks
Low-profile loft tanks on roofs and slabs, checked against the structure before we lift anything up.
Pump & pressure add-ons
Pair your tank with a transfer or booster pump for strong pressure in showers and upper floors.

Which tank size do you need?
- Plan for 50–100 litres per person per day. A family of five uses about 250–500 litres daily.
- Multiply daily use by the number of days the county supply is off. Three dry days for five people means 1,500 L minimum, so a 2,000–3,000 L tank.
- Rental blocks: allow 100–150 litres per unit per day and at least two days of storage.
- Schools and churches: plan 5–10 litres per pupil or worshipper per day, plus kitchen and washroom demand.
- Never put a tank above 1,000 L on a roof or slab without an engineer confirming the load.

Frequently asked questions
Which is the best water tank brand in Kenya?
Kentank, Roto, and TopTank are all reliable, food-grade, and UV-stabilised. Kentank is often the best value at 5,000 L and above, Roto has the widest distribution and heavy-duty multi-layer tanks, and TopTank is competitive on household sizes and loft designs. We supply all three and recommend based on your budget and site.
How much is a 5,000 litre water tank in Kenya?
In 2026 a 5,000 litre plastic tank costs roughly KES 33,000–62,000 depending on brand. Installed on a concrete base with fittings and connection, most jobs land between KES 50,000 and KES 85,000.
How much is a 10,000 litre water tank in Kenya?
A 10,000 litre tank costs about KES 75,000–126,000 for the tank alone. With a reinforced slab, valves, and connection, budget KES 100,000–160,000.
Do I need a concrete base for a plastic water tank?
Yes. A full tank weighs one tonne per 1,000 litres. Uneven soil or stones under the tank cause stress cracks and void the manufacturer warranty. A level, reinforced concrete base is the standard.
How long does tank installation take?
Once the base has cured, a standard ground tank is delivered and connected in half a day to one day.
